About Jamey

Born and raised in North Carolina, Jamey Meeker is a seasoned songwriter with compositions ranging from pop to folk. After starting a band in college called Yugo, Jamey moved to Nashville, TN to pursue songwriting full time.

 

The Nashville experience led to many contacts which brought Jamey back to North Carolina where he currently resides as a songwriter, leaving pop to kick off a new alt. rock band called The Academy.
